Vitamin B6 is one of the most important cofactors of the entire organism, especially in the production of serotonin. We added the metabolically active form of vitamin B6, pyridoxal-5-phosphate, to our 5-HTP supplement. This B6 form has the highest bioavailability and does not need to be activated first. The serotonin level also has a huge influence on our mood as the happiness hormone. 5-HTP from Griffonia is a good way to supply the body with sufficient raw materials for neurotransmitter production from a plant source.
