Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), also called Orangeroot or Yellow Puccoon, is a perennial herb in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native to southeastern Canada and the eastern United States. It may be distinguished by its thick, yellow knotted rootstock. The stem is purplish and hairy above ground and yellow below ground where it connects to the yellow rhizome. It bears a single berry like a large raspberry with 10–30 seeds in the summer. In herbal medicine, goldenseal is often used as a multi-purpose remedy, and is thought to possess many different medicinal properties, according to herbal practitioners.
Main ingredient: Organic Goldenseal (Hydrastis Canadensis) Dry Root. Origin: USA. Menstruum: Alcohol, vegetable palm glycerin, crystal clear water. Contains NO: GMO, gluten, artificial colors, heavy metals, preservatives, pesticides, fertilizers.
Do not use if seal is broken or missing.
Shake well before using. Take about 20-30 drops (1 ml or 1 full squeeze of the dropper bulb) to 2 oz of juice or water up to 4 times a day.
