It is an excellent way to help horses maintain calmness in heavy training, competition and trailering. It does not cause drowsiness or affect performance. The alfalfa based formula includes L-Tryptophan, Thiamine, Inositol, Riboflavin, Magnesium, Vitamin B6 and Valerian root extract in an alfalfa base. The recommended dose is 1 ounce. This product should not be used for pregnant or nursing mares.
