It is a thermally stable, technically advanced supplement designed for use with any API GL-4 or GL-5 gear lubricant in conventional and limited slip applications. It smoothes and quiets operation of gears in the differential and fortifies the additives in gear lubricants. Excellent for use in manual transmissions and transfer cases to provide extra film strength, smooth shift action and corrosion protection
PROBLEM: Through normal operation, the bearings, input and output shaft gears and gear teeth in manual transmissions are subjected to intense stress and heat. Gear teeth will become pitted and worn. Synchronizer sleeves may become scored so that they do not move freely on the hubs.
