Do not apply the ice pack directly to the skin for an extended period to avoid skin damage. 8. Use the ice pack for 15-20 minutes, then remove it for at least 1-2 hours to allow the skin to return to its normal temperature. 9. Repeat the process as needed for pain relief and recovery.
