Today, Slippery Elm is used to support healthy respiratory and digestive systems. From the Edgar Cayce Health Care Philosophy "...elm water is an eliminant - an eliminant in a manner in which the system is prevented from creating inflammation; as the functioning of the system throws off refuses into the body, necessary for the blood supply to be recuperated so that the coagulation in tissue takes place, as is necessary to heal and eliminate." "It would be well to add to your drinking water either a pinch of elm or Saffron. At one time use a pinch of elm - ground elm bark. Keep this cold, or very cool. Do not let the quantity made up become stale in any manner, but let it be the drinking water at least two or three times each day. At other times during the day use the Saffron, made into the form of a tea. To a quart of water put a level teaspoonful of the Saffron. Let this steep as tea. This may be kept in a cool place and drunk as tea at one time, while the pinch of Slippery Elm would be put in the next glass of water that would be taken."

Directions
As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 1-3 time daily. To make as a tea: Open capsule and empty contents into glass and add water. Stir and drink. As a Tea place about a quarter to one-half of a teaspoon of slippery elm bark powder in a cup of warm water. Stir and let stand about fifteen minutes before drinking. Recommended by John Pagano in his book Healing Psoriasis. Great with American Saffron Tea
