Buckthorn (Frangula Alnus) is a tall shrub or tree with smooth, alternately arranged branches covered with white lentils. The leaves are alternate, shiny, smooth. The flowers are small, greenish-white, collected in bunches in the axils of the leaves. The fruit is a drupe that changes color (green, red and black), containing two flat bones with a coracoid outgrowth inside. The plant blossoms in May-June, bears fruit in September. It is found in the forest and forest-steppe zone of Europe, in the central regions of Western Siberia, in the north of Asia Minor.

Directions
Shake well before use. Take 20-30 drops, three times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal glycerites is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
